How do I return an item?

Before you make a purchase, we recommend you get in touch with us so we can help answer your questions and find the detector that is perfect for you. However, we never want any of our customers to be stuck with equipment that they are not satisfied with. That’s why we have an outstanding 30 Day, Risk-Free Money Back Guarantee, Refund, Exchange and Replacement Policy.

You may return any new, unused, and unassembled detectors and accessories within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or store credit. You may exchange any used, like-new detector or accessories within 14 days of receipt for a 70% refund or 80% credit towards the purchase of a replacement. Excludes clearance refurbished products. Return shipping and insurance etc at your responsibility.

Please call Customer Service 877 767 6522 to discuss your return and request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. A RMA number is required BEFORE shipping any product to us for refund or exchange. Any product returned for trade or refund that does not include the factory original shipping carton and inserts maybe subject to repacking fee.

If you are unsatisfied with your detector for any reason, please contact customer service within 14 days of receipt. You will have the option of receiving a 70% refund or an 80% credit towards the purchase of another Minelab product, coils or any accessories. This guarantee applies to purchases of any new metal detectors.

Return metal detectors are considered used, and we sell them for a reduced price on the pre-owned, demo, and used section of the Minelab Store. When returning a metal detector, search coil or any accessory it must be in like new, resalable condition with all instructions and manuals unmarked and unaltered. Search coils on metal detectors or coil purchased separately must be returned with their original covers. Any free accessories and/or promotional items must be returned in like new, resalable condition.

They are eager to help you with any issue or concern you may have. Return Procedures:

Unfortunately, if finally we have drawn to the conclusion of a return. We will do our best to have your returned product inspected as soon as possible. Please allow 48-72 hours after we receive the returned item. Minelab professional will inspect the return items and make fair decision on the Return qualifying category. Customer will be responsible for the return shipping only.
